The Australian Government is providing a $1 billion investment to assist small business in enhancing their digital capabilities.

The support encompasses costs associated with cyber security systems, cloud-based IT services and external training courses for up skilling employees.

The tax break allows small business to claim a bonus 20 percent deduction for business expenses and depreciating assets that support digital adoption. To put it simply, if your business has an annual turnover of less than $50 million, for every $100 you spend on digital technology you can claim a $120 deduction!

The bonus tax break is for expenditure incurred between 29/3/2022 and 30/06/2023 so there’s never been a better time to accelerate your business through the latest technology and employee training.
